SIX MONTHS AFTER RELEASE WARRIOR NUN FANS ARE STILL RUNNING THE MARATHON - AROUND THE WORLD
If anyone thought that the Warrior Nun marathon was going to slow down, they were wrong. Because on May 14th in Barcelona, Spain, a temporary mural will be installed, in collaboration with street artist @magiaseoane. The commissioned work will be on display at the Tres Xemeneies park and will be installed Friday 12th, throughout the day, while on Sunday 14th there will be a gathering of Spanish fans to meet-up and connect at 12pm CEST. The space is free to use for artists, but it is hoped that the artwork will remain for one or two weeks, at least. This is the first mural for the campaign and it is fitting that the live art would be installed in the country where the series was filmed. Organized by @WarriorNunSpain. (1)

Warrior Nun fans continue to organize and adapt to an ever-changing landscape amid a writer's strike and SOD industry shake-ups. On May 7th, 2023 a global effort to relay race around the Earth began. (2) Over 30 countries, from every continent except Antarctica, engaged or participated in the #WarriorNunRun event. 47 relay participants were registered, with dozens more "dropping in" during the event. The goal of the event was to spread awareness of the show and campaign while being active outside and sharing photos along the way. Running shoes, kayaks, gym equipment paralleled running sheep, sweeping landscapes, and photos of metaphorically passing DIY batons. Even Paul Tassi with Forbes noted in an article on May 7th "Today there is something called the "Warrior Nun Run where people are running outside as some sort of IRL event to bring more attention to the cause. " (3) More events are in the works from the @WarriorNunRun team.
