What are the Emmy Awards?

The Emmy Awards, or Emmys, “recognize excellence within various areas of television and emerging media.”

 

What is For Your Consideration (FYC)?

Any submission is up for consideration by the voting members in order to be nominated for an Emmy

 

Who votes?

“The Primetime Emmy Award is a symbol of peer recognition from nearly 20,000 Television Academy members. Each member casts a ballot for the category of competition in their field of expertise.”

 

When?

Nomination voting by the members runs June 15-June 26 with an announcement on July 12.
