On August 11th 1977, Sylvia De Fanti was born in Montreal, Canada. Before joining the entertainment world as an actress, Sylvia studied “Cinema, Women’s Studies and Postmodernism at the Sorbonne, in Paris as well as graduated from La Sapienza (Rome) with a masters in Cultural Anthropology.
Fluent in Italian, French and English, Sylvia starts her acting career in 2002 on the short film “Miss my muse in summertime”. Sylvia went on to start in several series and films around the world before joining the cast of Warrior Nun in 2019.
Today, we, at the OCS Newsletter, celebrate Sylvia’s 46th birthday.

Kristina Tonteri-Young and Olivia Delcán, will attend the “Starfury: Witchbomb” convention in London on August 18th-20th. Fans are already preparing emotionally to attend the event and, to those of us who won’t get to join, frantically keep up with the news, photos and videos on twitter. Make sure to stay tuned during the event because we never know which exciting news might come out of it…

While, according to Simon Barry, the fight to save Warrior Nun has come to an end, we still need to keep praise the word of our Lord and Savior, Ava Silva whenever we can. One of the best ways to do it, is through polls! Currently, Avatrice and Sister Beatrice are patiently waiting for your votes on two different polls. SYLVIA DE FANTI’S BIRTHDAY PROJECT
Sylvia is an amazing actress who’s had a very successful career for a long time. But more so than that, Sylvia is someone who’s passionate about social causes such as LGBTQIA+ rights. Inspired by that passion, A donation drive was set with proceeds going go to MIT Trans Identity Movement (Movimento Identità Trans) in honor of Sylvia’s birthday. MIT provides many levels of services for the Trans community in Italy, including mental, physical, and social health; legal support, harm reduction for sex workers, migrants support, and much more. As of publishing the #WarriorNun fandom has donated almost $1,250.
Additionally. The OCS Newsletter invited Halo Bearers to send messages, drawings, paintings, digital art… anything they wanted to show a little bit of our love for the birthday girl. The submissions and messages are available on our blog on warriornun.com!
