On July 9h, 2023, halo bearers, led by the phrase team, held the first edition of the Friendship tinder, which was a get to know each other event to bring people together. Interested Halo Bearers filled up a form with various questions Where They were invited to share their interest and passions with one another.

TOYA TURNER, hosted a live on her channel on Twitch in which she talked to fans about various topics, including her role as Mary, this very own newsletter as well as subtle hints about the future of the Warrior Nun Universe. The live event even had a special feature, via phone call, of our beloved Lorena Andrea. It looks like the whole cast is excited for what comes next! SUPERION’S ORDERS
As many of you know, on June 28th, 2023, Uncle Simon surprised all of us by announcing a new dawn, a time for sunrises instead of sunsets. Since then, we have all been celebrating the return of Warrior Nun in many different ways, including Simon’s cryptic countdown pointing to August 15th. And while we know Simon has tricks up his sleeve, it’s important to keep promoting the show while we wait for more information on its epic return. So, if you can, make sure to keep using the #WarrioNun tag as well as #WarriorNunSaved to ensure our demand (and popularity) remains high. And don’t forget to be kind, be patient and be respectful always.

On July 10th of 1997, Alba Baptista was born in Lisbon, Portugal, from a Portuguese mother and a Brazilian father.
From a young age, Alba learned to speak multiple languages, including German, French and English and, while still a teenager, she began her career as an actress on the Portuguese short film “Miami” followed by Jardins Proibidos (forbidden gardens).
Alba went on to start in several Portuguese series and films before joining the cast of Warrior Nun in 2019, her English debut that took all of our hearts.
And the rest is history…
Today, we, at the OCS Newsletter, celebrate Alba’s 26th birthday.
ALBA BAPTISTA’S BIRTHDAY PROJECT
Alba is a passionate actor who’s been working on film and television since she was a teenager. Inspired by the loved and respected shown by her to all those that have worked alongside her, Halo Bearers have opted to launch a donation drive in conjunction with the OCS Newsletter as her birthday project. The fundraiser aims to help the Writers Guild of America (WGA)’s fight for better conditions in the entertainment industry. The original goal was to raise US$2.500, but as of today, the fundraising has surpassed $7.000.
Additionally. The OCS Newsletter invited Halo Bearers to send messages, drawings, paintings, digital art… anything they wanted to show a little bit of our love for the birthday girl. The submissions and messages are available on our blog on warriornun.com!
